API & AI integration

Ingle is being built so a home AI (Grok, or whichever assistant you use) can read and update chores: “What’s left on Leo’s list today?”, or “Mark the bins as done.”

The plan:

  • An HTTP API for chores, people, completions and rewards, with tokens an adult creates and removes in admin.
  • An MCP server, so AI assistants can use Ingle as a tool directly.

Both will follow the same rules as the board: the honour system and adult approval, and nothing personal while the displays are locked.
